Root Canal Treatment

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

When the pulpa of the tooth, where the dental nerves and veins are located, surfaces or when there's an infection at the root of the tooth; these nerves and veins are removed. The cleansed area is filled with a special filling. Depending on the severity of the damage, the root canal treatment may require one or more sessions.

Tooth Extraction

TOOTH EXTRACTION

Tooth extraction is a last resort when no other possible treatments are available. A simple extraction only takes a few minutes following the application of local anesthetics. Depending on the patient, the doctor may also apply general anesthetics where local anesthetics may not applicable for various reasons.


Deep Cleaning

DEEP CLEANING

Deep cleaning is the process of cleaning the tartar build-up on the tooth enamel as well as the removal of the stains. The patient feels almost no pain and the whole procedure takes up about 30mins.


Implant Treatment

IMPLANT TREATMENT

Implants are artifical dental roots made out of titanium or zirconium, placed in lieu of extracted or lost teeth. Compared with traditional coating and prosthetics, they provide superior talking and chewing functions. The application takes only about 15-20mins for each implant, yet require a period of 2-3 months following the procedure for the artifical roots to completely fuse with the bone.

Dental crowns are basically caps for the visible part of teeth. When placed on a damaged tooth, a crown both strenghtens it and gives the tooth a natural look. Depending on the case, crowns made out of various materials may be applied, such as porcelain-fused-to-metal, zirconium porcelain or ceramic.


Dental Bridges

DENTAL BRIDGES

A dental bridge is used to restore a missing tooth, or several missing teeth, by placing dental crowns on the gap as well as on the adjacent teeth of each side of the gap. Any material mentioned in the dental crowns section may be used to form a bridge.

T-Scan Occlusal Analysis

T-SCAN OCCLUSAL ANALYSIS

Conducted in order to eliminate the destructive forces on new restorations, such as prosthetics, plating, filling and orthodontic treatments, T-Scan Occlusal Analysis requires the patient to simply bite on a thin sensor. The procedure is painless and requires about 30-60mins.


Electromyography

ELECTROMYOGRAPHY

EMG is a diagnostic method used to measure the activity of the chewing muscles in temporomandibular disorders. Easy and painless, the procedure requires the placement of electrodes on the patient's chewing muscles and takes up about 20-30 mins.

Joint Vibration Analysis (JVA)

JOINT VIBRATION ANALYSIS (JVA)

JVA is a painless method of diagnosis to understand whether the temporomandibular joint is damaged, if so, and the extent of the damage. It is possible to make a diagnosis as quickly as 3 mins.


Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)

TRANSCUTANEOUS ELECTRICAL NERVE STIMULATION (TENS)

In cases of prolonged acute spasm of the jaw muscles, also known as a jaw-lock, the TENS method uses electrodes to release tension in the temporomandibular area. Depending on the severity of the spasms, this painless procedure may take between 15-30mins.

It is possible to whiten your teeth up to 2-3 shades with the dental bleaching procedure that requires the application of a chemical mix on your teeth and its activation by laser light. Invisalign Treatment

INVISALIGN TREATMENT

Invisalign is a transparent aligner placed on teeth in lieu of traditional retainers. The aligners have to be replaced every 2 weeks for a set amount of time determined by your orthodontist. Compared with traditional orthodontic retainers, invisalign aligners are both more aesthetic and more comfortable.

LUMINEERS (HOLLYWOOD SMILE) SOLUTIONS

Lumineers are contact lens-thin porcelain veneers that are easily placed over existing teeth. Unlike traditional veneers, they do not require any grinding or shaving before application. 2-3 days after the first session where your doctor takes a mould impression of your teeth, a second session of maximum 1 hour is required for application.
